Join us online for our 137th Timperley Hockey Club AGM and election of Officers for 2024-25

For this years AGM and we're going back to holding an online meeting (as we did in Covid) following feedback to encourage more members and parents to attend.

Join the AGM as we reflect on the 2023-24 season, share plans for next season, elect our new committee, update on Project 18 and the replacement of the Blue Pitch and future investments in TSC and for a Q and A.

The AGM Agenda (below) gives you heads up on what we'll be covering and feel free to send in any questions in advance, or if you can't make it or ask on the evening. The AGM is an important part of running our Hockey Club - if you've enjoyed your hockey this season and being part of the club a lot of that is down to how we run the club so please do come along and learn more about how 2023-24 has gone and our future plans. Its also an exciting time for TSC and we'll be updating on the Blue Pitch and our fundraising.

Get involved !
As we continue to grow and develop as a Club on and off the pitch its even more critical that we have a active group of volunteers from across the club to help #makehockeyhappen on the turf and behind the scenes in supporting roles. We'll also be sharing snap shots of the roles over coming days to give more of a feel of what each role is does.

We've everything from Committee Roles to small jobs that all make a big difference and for 2024-25 we are continually looking at improved ways how we run THC. For 2024-25 we want ot get more people involved and engaged from across all the teams / ages to move forward as a club. Do join the AGM - we've gone on line so more people can attend so join in and have your say and share your thoughts about all things blue and black.

At the AGM will also be electing our 2024-25 #OneClub THC Committee as part of our Governance. [/b]NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN ![/b] for the core roles elected by members at the AGM are:

• Chair -
• Vice Chair (TSC focus)
• Vice Chair (THC /playing focus)
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Men's Club Captain
• Women's Club Captain
• Junior Co-ordinator
• Hockey Development Chair
• Membership Officer - new role

The hockey committee meets monthly and provides the overall strategic and operational direction and co-ordination of the full range of activities required to run a hockey club of our size and scope for all ages. In addition, the committee work is supported by a number of appointed roles that perform key roles in #makinghockeyhappen.

Other roles / key activities include:

• Umpire Co-ordinator
• Welfare Officer(s)
• Fixture and Pitch Allocation Co-ordinator
• Sponsorship and Fundraising Co-ordinator
• Communications, Social Media and Website (can be split)
• Senior Team Captains
• Team Managers (senior and junior teams)
• Junior Team Coaches
• Junior Committee and Support roles

PLUS many other volunteer roles and all of which play an important part in
#makinghockeyhappen and developing and improving what we do. We welcome players, parents, supporters and former members who like to get involved and make a difference to hockey at Timperley.

• The role(s) you'd like to stand for
• What you feel you bring to the role
• Name of a Club Member to propose you for the role (or we can help find a proposer!)
• Name of a Club Member to second you for the role (or we can help find a seconder!)
• Please confirm that your proposer and seconder have agreed to do this

There is flexibility around how we do the roles and how they work with the committee members so get in touch and let's work out how you can get involved in taking THC forward next season.
