This is a huge event - take a look at the teams involved and sport other NW faces playing for England, LX, Alliance and this the second big tournament of the year as the younger age groups were in South Africa earlier in the season - who says hockey isn't a sport for life !
Gold for Debbie Chalcroft, Lou Hutchinson, Sarah Impey, Mike Carson and Mark Andrews.
Bronze for Col Taylor.

Weather update - its beginning to feel a bit like winter !
Temperatures are due to drop to around freezing next week so its going to be an interesting time learning about how the new blue pitch behaves in the cold and at what point it is likely to freeze. If you want to be a real hockey badger you can become an expert if (or crystal ball gazer!) at trying to predict when 6000 m2 of artificial turf may freeze ! With the recent drainage work completed we hope this will be a positive as water can drain freely from under the pitches.
Winter Weather Pitch Watch will be back in action next week and we will be posting updates for training sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday via all the usual channels to keep everyone up to date. So if travelling a distance please check in next week to check that we've dodged an early visit from Jack Frost! All the usual processes will be put in place for next weeks matches to check on pitches home and away
League Match Slip Dates - please be aware that IF league games are postponed with SLIP DATES will be confirmed by the League but will be likely to be the weekends 14th December and 4th January 2025 - so be aware there may be hockey on these weekends!
300 Club Draw
Its that time of the month again and our club development 300 Club Draw will take place in the bar after today's M1's match around 7pm. Buy a number in the draw for £5 on the night (pay at the bar or Nick Burnett direct) and be in with the chance to win one of our cash prizes (min. 1st prize £125). The 300 Club makes a real difference to club development projects and contributed £25k to the new terrace so its a win win - support investment in the club and win cash prizes ! We've had a lot of lucky hockey winners recently and Malc Tucker scoped the 2nd Prize (£70) last month
